A/E/C REFERENCED STANDARDS - IFC Collection

Description:
A/E/C REFERENCED STANDARDS - IFC Collection contains more than 100 documents.

The IHS Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) collection contains several groups of specifications and standards. Documents available in this group are generated by more than 10 consensus and regulatory organizations. Construction projects involving hazardous materials either during construction or in the final use of the facility require special care and attention to assure the safety of the workers and the final users of the facility. These standards and specifications would be of interest to engineers, architects, and constructors as well as vendors and manufacturers supplying products and services for construction projects. Topics covered include: underground petroleum storage tanks; fire protection in refineries; protection against ignitions; safe welding, cutting, and hot work in the petroleum and petrochemical industries; storage and handling of heated petroleum-derived asphalt products; flame arresters; tank inspection, repair, alteration, and reconstruction; safety code for elevators and escalators, platform lifts and stairway chairlifts; solder joint pressure fittings; process piping; test method for vapor pressure of petroleum products; standard test methods for flash point; methods for fire testing; power operated doors; OSHA standards for air contaminants and hazard communication; transportation and packaging of oil and hazardous materials; enclosures for electrical equipment; standards and requirements for commercial building telecommunications; UL Standard flammable liquid storage cabinets, glass-fiber-reinforced plastic underground storage tanks, fire tests for foamed plastics, aboveground tanks for flammable and combustible liquids, control units and accessories for fire alarm systems; crimes importation, manufacture, distribution, and storage of explosive materials.

Online Access - Subscribers get secure online access to search, view, bookmark, track, and print documents according to the license agreement. Online documents are updated daily. Multiple users can share a single license. You also get access to IHS Standards bibliographic data – more than 1 Million documents.

Individual Documents - IHS sell individual documents through the IHS Store in electronic or hard copy formats. Statistics show that 1 out of every 5 people who purchase individual documents would benefit from an online subscription. You should consider a collection over individual document purchases if your company buys more than $3,000 in standards per year.
