Scope:
INTRODUCTION
This Standard is a result of the efforts of the Compact Disc
Subcommittee of the EIA Audio Systems committee. This Standard
shall apply to domestic reproducing equipment for Compact Discs
(CDs) and defines the methods of measurement and the form of
disclosure of performance characteristics of consumer CD
players.
