Title
POCKET GUIDE for Air Conditioning Heating Ventilation Refrigeration (Inch-Pound Edition)
American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.
Publication Date:
Jan 1, 2005
Scope:
PREFACE
This Pocket Guide was developed to serve as a ready reference for engineers whose mobility keeps them from easy access to the large ASHRAE Handbooks. Most of the information is taken from the four volumes of the ASHRAE Handbook series and abridged or reduced to fit the smaller page size.
Additions and changes since the fifth edition in 2001 have included data from the new ASHRAE Standard 62.2 and major developments in ASHRAE Standards 15, 55, and 62.1; a greater coverage on energy conservation and sustainable construction techniques, products, and systems; and data on new refrigerants.
This sixth edition of the Pocket Guide, which was first published in 1987, was again compiled by Frederick H. Kohloss and edited by Mildred Geshwiller and Erin S. Howard; previous major contributors were Carl W. MacPhee, Griffith C. Burr, Jr., and Harry E. Rountree.
